Finance and Insurance (F&I) Director – Automotive
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Finance Director to lead our dealership’s finance department with energy and expertise. Responsibilities
Lead the dealership’s finance operations, including loan processing, credit analysis, and contract negotiations, ensuring adherence to TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations.
Build strong customer relationships by providing transparent financial options, upselling additional products, and delivering outstanding service throughout the sales process.
Manage and develop the finance team to achieve sales targets, improve skills in negotiation, and enhance overall performance.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling vehicle protection plans, extended warranties, and other financial products.
Oversee title processing, deal structuring, and compliance with all legal requirements related to auto financing.
Utilize financial software efficiently for loan approval workflows, credit checks, and documentation management.
Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility while maintaining a focus on responsible lending practices.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the dealership’s customer loan origination and approval process, maintaining strong relationships with both prime and subprime lenders.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all federal, state, and dealership documentation.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Finance Managers, fostering collaboration across departments.
Drive performance by setting and achieving monthly income forecasts, product penetration goals, and CSI benchmarks.
Present and sell value-added products such as service contracts, GAP coverage, and other protection plans.
