We are looking to hire a Bookkeeper Accountant and Administrator to support our financial planning practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily management of accounts, keeps businesses aligned with provincial and federal tax laws and manages accounts payable and receivable. Their duties include record maintenance, clerical work, and data entry.
  • Oversee a company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
  • Maintain minimum 4 accounting books
  • Prepare proper accounting records and filing required supporting for each accounting transactions to external accountant
  • Work with external accountant for each yearly’s tax filing
  • Keep track and manage financial data, enter financial transactions into various databases/files, notify upper management of any accounting errors, and organize financial reports. 
  • Propose and deploy an efficient spending flow and applications
  • Be the first point of contact within a company for all HR-related inquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain proper staff records, including but not limited to payroll
  • Keep up to the date with the latest employment laws and how these rules differ for several types of employees. All contracts must be kept up to date and re-done if the laws or regulations change at any point
  • Review and handle staff compensation and benefits on time and accurate
  • Assist in revamp and keep updates all Human resources policy procedures and process flow
  • Assist in hiring process, include recruiting, set up interviews for open positions in the company
  • Assist in staff performance revaluation
  • Assist management to communicate to staff, organize various staff meetings
  • Assist in propose and deploy an efficient human resources information applications

 

Qualifications: 

  • Fluency in English and Cantonese required
  • Diploma in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Familiar with SIFA Accounting rules
  • Familiar with Canada tax rule will have advantages
  • Familiar with Canada human resources employment law or deploy HRIS will have advantages
  • Good Data Entry and Excel Skills
  • Mindfulness and thoroughness
  • With high confidentiality and integrity

  • Detailed and accurate mind
  • Sensitive to numbers
  • Well-organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • At least 3-5 years bookkeeping and accounting experiences, got management experiences will have advantages
  • Previous experiences to communicate with external accountants on company’s book
  • Experiences in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
